Villa Vino

Villa Vino is a nice little Wine bar at Mikkel Bryggers Gade 11, downtown Copenhagen. It is a small, and a very cozy place right off the main shopping street.

A variety of wines from various countries is on offer, along with chockolades, cheese and sausages.

The service is just excellent. Even if your knowledge of wines is minimal, the staff will help you find whatever it is you really are looking for.

One of our favourites. Two thumbs up.

Gold Prag

A little place in Gothersgade, which offers Czech food. The place is very small, so it can get crowded pretty easily. The lack of space is offset by extremely favorite prices, both on food and the very good Czech beer.
The food is quite heavy. Steaks, schnitzels, sausages and the kind. But if you are in the mood for a fair-priced heavy meal with super Czech beer on tap, this is a nice place.

Sushi Nørregade

Simply put, a superb sushi restaurant. Having been there multiple times, the good people at Sushi Nørregade have yet to disappoint.
We have usually ordered on of their big menus, which are just great. Occasionally, we might take a Nørregade Roll, or a Crisby Ebi roll, and both are to be recommended.
If you like sushi, this is definitly the place to go in Copenhagen.

Jensens Bøfhus - Gråbrødretorv

We were wandering around town and decided to try out one of the steakhouse from this rather well known Danish restaurant chain. This became a bitter disappointment. After being shown to our seats, we were left unattended for close to 15 minutes. At that point, we got up and left. And just to rub in the fantastic service, on our way out, a waitress in a hurry nearly ran us over.
All in all, an unforgettable experience. For all the wrong reasons.
Minus 2 stars.
